The UNii is very suitable for intrusion detection and/or access control. That is why Alphatronics has added a complete line of excellent access control readers to the range. These readers support Wiegand, OSDP, and even the UNii RS-485 bus protocol. So there is a reader available for every situation: narrow, wide and with a PIN code. Of course, the readers are provided with the safe DESFire reading principle.
We see many different readers on the market, says Jos Herrebrugh – CEO of Alphatronics. But few readers are available that support all communication protocols. Of course, we are dealing with a huge installed base of Wiegand readers, but given the security of the connection, we should actually switch to OSDP, according to Herrebrugh.
That is why we have chosen to bring the AT-600 readers in three versions: Wiegand with a view to the installed base, OSDP for new, safe installations and the UNii RS-485 version for a handy extension of the existing installation.
In addition to the readers, exit buttons are also available in the same version. No ugly buttons that don’t fit into the interior, but buttons that have the same design as the reader himself. A desktop reader is available for teach-in tags or passes.
