Moreover, consideration has been given to changing security risks by certifying the UNii for the highest risk class: Grade 3. Therefore, even if the insurer imposes additional requirements based on increased insured value, the UNii is prepared for such scenarios, preventing additional costs.
Fire detection
More than just intrusion detectionDepending on the location and the usage of the premises, it’s possible to directly connect smoke and fire detectors to the intrusion detection system. This is a very simple expansion that significantly enhances employee safety. On the UNii, both wired and wireless smoke detectors can be directly connected. Any fire alarms are promptly detected and forwarded to the Private Alarm Center (PAC) and the mySmartControl app. If the location has a separate fire alarm control panel, its notifications can be transmitted through the UNii. The UNii is the only intrusion detection system certified with EN54-21. This certification allows the fire alarm control panel to report notifications through the UNii. This eliminates the need for a separate communicator for the fire alarm control panel, resulting in significant savings in acquisition and recurring subscription costs for end users. Moreover, it’s possible to transmit detailed detector information to the PAC or the mySmartControl app. This means not only receiving a notification that there’s a fire, but also specific information about which detector(s) triggered the alarm. This enables optimal and secure coordination of firefighting efforts and personnel responses. This unique feature of the UNii contributes to increased safety and reduced costs.
Access Control
Managing employees in one centralized system is highly convenient. This is why the UNii is often chosen for both intrusion detection and access control. Access readers can be wired or wirelessly integrated into the UNii configuration. This is a significant advantage for employees, as they can use a single tag or card for accessing specific areas and potentially arming/disarming the alarm system. For administrators, it’s an ideal solution as user privileges can be managed within a single system.
mySmartControl app
Remote managementEasily operate the UNii intrusion detection and access control system with the mySmartControl app. You can arm and disarm the system with just one button press. Receive instant push notifications for alarms or arming/disarming events. Even if your phone is on silent, you can still receive notifications. The mySmartControl chat function is very useful, allowing users to communicate with each other about alarm handling. This way, everyone is aware of the status and who will take action.
UNii manager / UNii online
A new user who needs to arm/disarm the alarm system or use access control? No problem, with UNii manager or UNii online, users can be easily created or modified without the need for intervention from the installer. What’s unique is user management for organizations with multiple locations. UNii online allows users to be assigned to multiple locations at once or adjust their permissions. Branch businesses can manage users for their locations in a clear and consistent manner using this method.
